Luxury Poinsettia Gift Tags

Hey Everyone,

It’s been a busy build up to Christmas this year and it hasn’t felt the same. I know lots of people have been crafting and creating their own Christmas gift wrap, cards & gift tags this year. Those that haven’t seem to have gone all out with their wrapping to make gifts that extra bit special.

I wanted to create something using my favourite stamp set from the Seasonal catalogue - Poinsettia Petals

Using brown kraft cardstock I die cut some super large labels. I stamped all the flowers and holly leaves and just coloured them in using Real Red, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow Stampin’Up blends.

Die cut using the dies that can be purchased as a bundle and then just layered to give them a 3D effect. I really wish this stamp set carries over to the annual catalogue as I feel I need to experiement alot more!!!!

Annual Catalogue Team Swaps 2020

Hi Everyone,

The perks of being a Stampin’Up demonstrator is the fact you get to network with lots of people who also share the same passion and exitement for paper craft.

Being part of Team Pootles - we as a team took part in sharing a new creation from the new annual Stampin’Up catalogue. I then had to make multiples of my creation to share with 4 pootlers.

I made 4 mini 3”x3” cards all held together in the new acetate clear boxes. Each person recieved a mini note card pack.

I tried to make each card very different. I used the embossing folder included in the suite, DSP paper as the backgound, simple background stamping and die cutting & a watercolour backgound using the green hues in the entire set.

Each card had a stamped envelope. I used the rest of the DSP sheet to make slim belly bands for the acetate boxes. I really love how these turned out. What a beautiful gift!

I absolutely love dingy cards, if anything I much prefer to make a batch of 3x3 or 4x4 note cards. This beautiful dainty card & tea bag pouch made by the lovely Yvonne are just so cute.

She’s used the Ornate Garden DSP - I never really liked the suite but I love this paper so much that I need to add it to my next order.

These would make lovely craft fair pieces as I don’t know many people who dislike tea. Can always be swapped for an After 8 mint or square sized treat. All details can be found on her blog below.

Organising my Stampin'Up Blend Markers

Hi Everyone,

So I’ve been a little busy. I am back at work for 18 hours week eventhough I work 32 but as things still aren’t the same in school and not all children are back it means I get to finish by lunchtime and then enjoy the afternoon to myself.

I have been organising things around the house and in my craft room. I also managed to place my order from the new Stampin’Up catalogue. Don’t have your copy and would like one…Let me know? I am based in Nottingham and I am more than happy for you to collect one if you’re nearby.

I had also earned some vouchers from my upline for £150 + £15 stamping rewards so I ordered a suite, few stamp sets and bits. My delivery should be coming on Tuesday!! Whoop Whoop!

I hadn’t been too bothered about the Stampin’blend markers but I found that I really liked how they worked. I didn’t have any colours and because they are £8.50 for a pack of 2 (light & dark) I have slowly built a little collection.

Stampin'Up Stampin'blends Markers

I found it was really difficult to grab colours and they were not paired. It’s also not possible to keep them upside down as the ink falls one way and then I thought I’d invest in the Stampin’blend storage and I am so glad I did!

What do you think?……….

Stampin Up Stampin'Blend Storage

Yes, there’s gaps but I have placed an order for the new 2020-2022 In colours so I should fill some of the gaps. If you’ve not yet got these markers - they really are lovely and I would consider starting a collection.

Happy Crafting!
